It is OK but what you should be aware of is that they make these on the same surfaces that they make the meaty one, also they use the same spatulas and knives etc, they do not prepare them away from meat so in my mind they are not true vegetarian meals.

Hi I work for McDonald's and can tell you that the veggie burgers are 100% meat free they are deep fried in their own vat (fryer) that is only used to cook veggie burgers and then they a put in a bun with green tongs (only used for veggie products) and served to you, as for what they contain it is mixed veg (peas, corn and potato) seasoned with a curry flavour and wrapped in breadcrumbs..
if you go to www.mcdonalds .co.uk you will be able to get a full list of ingredients, yes they are very nice as they are cooked to order, hope that helps

Probably not, but do you really want to support them anyway? It seems like eating at Mc Donald's defeats the whole point of being vegetarian.

When I was 16 I worked at Mcdonalds and people would order the Mclean and we would just give them the regular quarter pounder meat and we never had a complaint,no one ever knew.

Is ANYTHING from McD's nice? I can say I have only been in once with my kids never again!!! it tasted like fried fat, and quite expensive as well. We now occasonally go to the transport cafe near work, bacon, sausage and egg buttie with a tea, £2.

the last one I ate ( a couple of years back) seemed to be made from potato, bean pulp, sessame seeds, kidney beans minced vegetables and was spiced with a mild curry flavour which was ( I suspect ) there to cover up the actual flavour.

Personaly I don't eat Mc'D products, I am overly concerned about thier contents, and the integrity of thier staff.

You'd do better to find an indipendant local cafe' and eat there, supporting your local shops is more important than "Lovin' it" with a massive corp', and thay try harder to please you as they rely on repeat custom for thier livelyhood's.

No burger at McDonald's is nice and no one knows what any of the mystery meats (real or otherwise) are.

better than a veggie melt but quite frankly all of it is really pretty disgusting. Better off at home with a cucumber sandwich.
