Which is your favorite hero out of the two and why? Is it because the actor plays a more convincing role, or on the other hand, is it because of the background of the hero, or any other reason...?

I personally loved Val Kilmar as Batman. But i choose Christian Bale as Batman over Tobey Maguire bc he is more convincing. Tobey is just so boyish looking and to skinny. And what is up with Topher Grace as Eddie Brock (Venom)?

Batman is my favorite hero of all time. Not because Bale plays him in Batman Begins or whoever plays him in the movies, it's because I've always like Batman ever since I was a kid. I always liked the more darker heroes not the goodie ones like Spidey and Superman....
I really loved watching Batman the animated series when I was a kid and even now when I have the chance. The novels and the comics are great as well. Even Batman's villians are interesting such as The Joker, Penguin, The Riddler, Two Face, Bane, Poison Ivy and lots more.
So...once again, Batman is my favorite hero of all time. And I can't wait for the Dark Knight, coming 2008.

Definitely Tobey Maguire as Spiderman. I loved his angst and I sympathise that he has to juggle between his love life, college life and work life. And he has to fight his own best friend as well as his own demon. Poor chap..
Christian Bale is just so un-Batman like. That's why the last Batman movie sucks. No offence to fans of Christian Bale. I know he can act better in other characters but Christian is just not cut out to be a 'superhero'. Sorry.

They both give justice to their roles. Both are good actors. Batman happens to have a more buffed body than Spiderman.
l don't know if it's the actors or how they are drawn in cartoons.
