When we let go of love, it's for a good reason. Don't look back, the scenery seldom changes.

He left me in 1986 with no reason--after 7 years. I don't think there has been a day go by that I haven't thought of him. But the person I think of everyday doesn't exist anymore and I moved on with some else for 20 years....You can't go back...I haven't seen my ex in 18 years and I fear I would have nothing to say to him. Sad.

You can never go back to the past, no matter how good it was. And like you said, even when you found your old love again, it wasn't the same. It never is.

I might miss what could of been, or wonder how it would of turned out, but I don't miss it.

No, live a life of no regrets.
You can't change the past my friend, and there is nothing gained from living there either.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on.
As I always say: Love it, Change it or Leave it.

Yeah, that sucks brother. I feel ya. Love what you'd had and revel in it, you can cherish something few have truly experienced.
