What gets me is all the hype over artificially engineered chemicals to make "medicine" as healthy and good for you and a naturally occuring herb which has been used for 1000's of years by people in Asia as "bad" and "unhealthy" for your body and brain. I just think it is a totaly falsehood. I think much of the cannabis smoked today is tainted with chemicals and the naturally cultivated cannabis is much more beneficial for you if you used in moderation.

cannabis in my opinion should be used like any drug are power full herb. it should not be smoked all the time in large amounts,if people have to use it this way then they are only abusing it and they will eventually have problems with it. just like any thing you put into your body the more nature the better, i have used cannabis to treat my aliment, but it is still not a excepted treatment, but i no it works, and i have been using it long enough if i was going to start having problems i think they would start to surface. all i have seen so far is positive effects. this is when the drug is used in moderation, i no how much to take, i cant help it if the majority of people that try marijuana have to try to smoke as much as they can, and then they start to freak out there not giving it a chance and if they don't have a medical problem they shouldn't of been taking it any way. cannabis has many healing properties and many people have benefited from the use of cannabis. i am all for it for medical use, and i hope to see it become more excepted by people in the years to come.

Cannabis is an extremely potent herb and should really only be used in very small doses for healing only
.
People will always overdo it and take it recreationally & then daily, rather than use it as a herb for its healing benefits.

cannabis is meant for those who are on chemotherapy to combat the side effects of nausea and other ill people

Its not good to smoke it all the time, just like it is not good to take any drug all the time.

First thing you are going to get the brain washed individuals answering a question like this. I would not get so upset, this is the way of the many, not of the few.

I am legal, I have my state card and follow all the rules set down for people like me to follow. I am seeing a great benefit using marijuana (cannabis same thing). I only get mine from other card holders who have to follow the same rules as I do. The growers have even more rules. I no exactly what strain I am getting.
The street stuff who knows what you are getting, this to me is very unsafe.
I use everyday, in moderation. Unless I tell people I am on this know one is to the wisest. I even surprise my doctors when I tell them. I do not look like your typical stoner (is there a look of a typical stoner?).
I have tried surgery, shots, pills after pills, everything before I finally went to this. As I said I am doing very well on it. I could care less if others do not agree with me. It is nice to find others who are like minded though.....

I agree with you 100% All the hype regarding cannabis and how bad it's for you it is a lot of crap!! Alcohol is even worse but still legal. If cannabis was to be made legal in this Country it would cut many problems (medical & social) that we are faced with today.

i agree, usually there are two types of cannibis available, 'bush' which is naturally and organiscally grown and hydroponic which is full of chemicals. there is research that suggests cannabis can have a beneficial affect for people with pain and appetite issues (such as cancer). in my own experience the 'bush' type is best as it has fewer side effects although some people argue it is not as potent. i dont think the potency is the issue, the naturally grown cannabis has few toxins and in moderation can help people with a variety of issues.

The bible is littered with so-called prophets who were always high on something or the other, hence the visions. I don't see why cannabis is a problem, someone is hiding something and doesn't want the rest of us to find out. That's all am saying.

It has wonderful effects for people who are suffering the side effects of chemotherapy. My doctor said if he was legally allowed to prescribe it he would. Unfortunately in this country you can't even grow it for research purposes. It is a natural herb, that people have been smoking for centuries.

It should be legal, no question about it. I once or twice a week all through college to calm my nerves (and to have fun i wont lie) and i graduated with a 3.14 gpa. I know thats not that impressive but it was higher than i had in high school. So if anything ganja helped me because i wasnt always on edge about tests

Hi there!
so sorry i dont know your name but i truly hope i can answer your question as openly and honestly as i can.
my partner began smoking cannabis in his teens, now at the age of 53 (which isn;t too old) has more health issues then you would care to imagine, his paranoia is totally out of control he will do things such as, check my handbag to make sure i am not taping him? on one occassion it was that bad that i really coul;nt have left him on his own, we walked to the garage to buy some milk and everyone we passsed was looking at him or out to get him, he saw two dogs which he believed were going to attack him, there were no dogs there? the man in the phone box was calling the police to arrest him! it was one long nightmare one i wish never to be repeated, he no longer smokes at all but the damage is already done! he has been under the mental heath but dos;nt believe they help him so has stopped going! his depression is really scary he is always on suicide sites and has even told his two sons that if his heath gets any worse he is planning to hang himself! if thats not bad i dont know what is. he has been diagnosed with drug induced psycosis, so please dont go there it really isn;t worth the risk.
i wish you all the love/luck in the world and pray you dont go near the stuff it is a killer when taken over a long period.
lots of love julie xxx

I would rather smoke a joint than take anti-depression or pain killing drugs. I too prefer the bush version. It's wonderful when I go to the Caribbean or Africa and get the real stuff...Grown and dried naturally.
