I play some sports and stuff, but that doesn't really interest most girls (i'm not a pro or anything)

Learn how to play the guitar; lots of girls love being serenaded. But more importantly, try thinking of girls as just other people, not a different species. This will make them much more approachable.

It depends what sort of girls you want to impress. Playing music is a standard attraction, also painting for artistic types, skiing is great for a holiday with a girl, and reading or knowing about good quality cinema is appealing to intellectual girls. I don't know about other types of girls, because I am artistic, intellectual and love to ski (lol)! Oh, dancing, like tango or salsa is also great and sexy - but you'd better get good at it, or you are a nuisance to the girls.
