If you don't vote there's nothing with your vote, it is simply not computed.

What's your deinition of the government shall we ask? you mean, the party that holds the government at that moment?? if that was true, transition would be virtually impossible.

If you have a different definition of "government", it would be funny to have the polls saying... rep xx%, dem xx% "gov" xx%

=)

When the times comes to place your vote there is no government. The government that was in power has either reached the end of its allotted five years or it has resigned because of whatever circumstances forced a resignation.

But get out there and vote at the next opportunity, people gave their lives in order to ensure that everyone has a vote.

No. The only time such a thing has happened is when the last Tory government tried to get school and housing estates to opt out of council control. The legislation was such that if you didn't vote, you were counted as voting for change.

So typical of the Tories to bastardise the decision making process in this way.

Everyone should vote! People fought long and hard to get the voting power we have today, especially women. As far as I am aware If you don't vote you don't count and no the vote doesn't then go back to the government.

No, much to the disappointment of this corrupt and lazy government who would gladly take your vote of you. The real question should be, why do people not vote? We must protect our right to vote, it's about the only real say we get about the running of this country.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking...but if you are a registered voter and you don't vote the government knows that you don't. They have no way of knowing who you vote for, there is just a record of who voted and who didn't.

It definitely is not true. A voter who does not use his/her vote is guilty of the worst form of apathy. By not voting you are allowing the very people that you are opposed to gain power and influence. VOTE, VOTE, and make sure that you have your say.

If your vote does? If you don't vote then there is nothing there to go anywhere.

Your vote only goes to the candidate you vote for. If you don't vote nobody gets it.
