You are a complet idiot. I tell you what, kill yourself, then have your Mom mail me the pictures and I'll give you a nickel. Sound good?

You mean like an allowance? Talk to whoever your "employer" is (I'm thinking mom and dad) and find out how much money they are willing to spare. When I was a kid, I mowed the lawn for so much per hour, and my father wanted to get rid of the dandelions without weed killer, so he paid us something like a penny for each dandelion we pulled. (-: Boy, was he surprised at the number of dandelions! And we got an allowance for doing dishes, vacuuming the floor, etc.

I think the big trick is to figure out some job that should be done, but your "employer" for whatever reason doesn't want to tackle. Like cleaning the fronts of the cabinets. Or maybe getting rid of the weeds in the cracks of the driveway. Offer to do it for a specific amount of money, and be prepared to bargain a little.

Cleaning your room is for your own health and safety -- and it is also for your own peace of mind. Nobody should pay you to do it. You should do it as a sign of respect for yourself.

Doing dishes is iffier -- you are part of the family, and you are not paying your parents to cook for you, so why should they pay you to do dishes? But if they do, great. I got 25 cents a week 30 years ago; maybe with inflation, you can get a buck.

Another thing you can do is run errands for neighbors -- maybe they need a dog walked, or groceries picked up. Ask around, look and see what needs done, and offer a reasonable price to do it.

Good luck!
