With so much hatred , mistrust , disbelief among each other , among different population group ,we are , at present , at best , a big country , and not a "nation" , as we project ourselves . There have been progresses in various sectors , but that is mostly due to individual efforts and not through collective , systematic approach . One Narayanmurthy , one Ambani , one Tata , one Amartya Sen ..... Where are the others ?
There is a section at the bottom , who do their job religiously ( say farmers ) . For them , it does not matter who is controlling "the system" . There is a section at the top , who do not care , who is controlling "the system" (if there is any at all !!!) , because they can buy the system . And , there is a section in the middle , who constitutes the bulk of this "proposed nation" , who cares a lot as to who is controlling "the system" , but who is totally at a loss as to what is to be done to "weave the genuine feelings of a nation" .

India is a vast country with large population which is controlled by the politicans who are exploiting the people under the cover of cast and religion. With so much personal interest all around, the conditions will never improve. The country is on fast track of economic progress only because of the efforts of some intellectuals and economists.

i believe that with in the next 50 years India will be one of the super powers. that there will be a time when the population will become a great nation. India has great resources, they just need someone to lead the people and take control of the financial policies that are not in favor to your people.and make new trade agreements more favorable to your country

India will never overcome the mistrust among each other. I have many Indian neighbors here in U.S. and all they do is quarrel with each other, and then dance wth each other, and then quarrel again. They live this way, and they like it this way. If they start trusting and loving each other, they won't be Indians anymore, and it would be a boring life.

It is impossible to control population explosion, raising cost of living, pollution and water contamination etc. The population has become so desperate that they remove anything available like manhole covers, doors, windows, sign boards etc. Nightmare.

optimism of every indian is the key to india's success. "india is MY country n i will make it prosper at my personal best!" this must b our attitude like the farmer who does his work rigorously. if he just keeps on thinking of politics etc n stop farming we all would have to starve to death!
instead of changing the system ,change your self first! this will serve a great deal in making india prosperous.
