When Columbus came to the Island of Hispanolia he basically wiped out the indigenous indians who lived here with brutality. They were the Tainos and although it is thought that there are some people who's family supposedly go back to the Tainos they were basically wiped out.

Haiti invaded the Dominican Republic and ruled here for a few years before the DR fought for its independence and won.

There are many Haitians living here now since as even a hard labor worker they make much more and live much better than they do in Haiti which is a disaster.

Dominicans are also very prejudiced against Haitians. Discrimination runs rampant here.

I haven't got the slightest clue of what you are talking about. Who are you talking about. Spain is in Europe. Haiti is on the Island of Hispaniola, the other half of the island is Dominican Republic. Haitians do not live in DR.

Yep, totally agree, thing is DR has been invaded by every one who ever wanted to invade it, Spanish, who made slaves the population of the island, and made indians disapear, Americans, who invaded us calling it intervinience, and haitians, who wanted the whole island to themselves.
this island has survived to all of them, but still they keep triying..
