That will be a great thing, because the only way that will happen is if the Islamic country becomes a liberal country (not necessarily a democracy) with a liberal market economy with full participation, including among women. Its being a liberal country will preclude some dictator or mullah being in power.
Not only will this be good for the country in question, but it will benefit other Muslim nations as they see how this powerful nation gained its position. There might be more liberty and prosperity throughout the Islamic world. And they would by definition be one of our largest trading partners, which would be a strong motivation for peaceful relations.

How can a Islamic country become more powerfull than the US if it has to buy all its technology and weapons from a country run by W.A.S.P's. If they do become powerfull the UN will just sanction them. Really, do you think the US is the only country who doesn't want to see Islam come to power?

US Government desire to rule the entire world at any cost. If an Islamic country is becoming powerful, the American Govt will take all measures to disintegrate that country by encouraging terrorist activites in that country and also by providing financial and militay aid to the bordering country, like it has happened in Iran and Afganistan.

In some circumstances certain countries already are. To be more powerful so to speak, than the U.S. You have to have a lot of other countries in agreement with you. So basically it is just a figure of speach to say who is or isn't Powerfull
