the error is that the hardware does not not mach than the software u have installed.i have a usb installation cd.what should i do.please give me a clear answer

If u have windows xp USB should work fine.
Try downloading USB Update from Microsoft.com before installing the device.

First thing you should do is you have to re-install your USB ports in the computer. I think you have your mother board Cd. Insert it to your ROM and Install the USB Host drivers. You can Simply select this option from the cd autoplay menu. Then try to re-install your USB. I think your problem will be solved. IF it is not I think there is some wrong with your Hardware.Thank you .

If your operating system is WinXP or Win2000, then there is no need to install any drivers for USB. Those OS have built in drivers to support USB.
If you have some other OS, then you would have to installl the USB. Go to google and type as below.
Download Transcend USB driver for windows 98
In the place of transcend, give the name of USB that you have and you will get the correct driver for your USB. Then install it.
