I just completed Final Fantasy XII on the PS2?

Question

I was a damn great game. Any ideas to what game of the same genre i should start playing next. it has to have a great storyline and the graphics must be top notch. any ideas anybody?

It must be the latest.... anything b4 FFXII, i probably have already played it.

If you are liking the graphics, you might want to take a look at the Xenosaga games.I have to warn you, playing Xenosaga is like playing a movie. Cutscenes are plentiful and long, but if you like playing RPG for the story it is worth looking at. I's say if is between 60-40 to 50-50 cutscene to actual game play.

Disgea is also a really good series just out of the lmao factor of it. It is very quirky and down right ridiculous at time. In the very begining the main character wakes up from a long sleep to find someone trying to kill him (swords, morning stars, Gatling guns, jackhammers all over the floor) to being his best friend when he wakes up. If you can get a hold of Disgea consider yourself lucky I have seen it for $100+ on eBay. Disgea II you can order a pizza in the middle of a fight.

If you want to stick with the Final Fantasy thing, the only game whose graphics compare to FFXII is FFX and FFX-2 since they are both on the PS2. FFX has a good story to it and FFX-2 is the only direct sequel to a Final Fantasy. If you want story, look to FFVI, which is in my opinion and the majority of the hardcore Final Fantasy fans is the best one made. FFVII is also a good one, but is missing a lot as far as plot (something that people conveniently miss)

Kingdom Hearts is similar in quality to FF games however older, perhaps you've already played them.

i heard valkyrie profile 2 was good.

shadow of hearts was supposed to be good too.
