I the squad should be as follows
hayden
watson
ponting
hodge
hussey
gilchrist ( time to bat down the order a bit )
white or (symonds if he is fit )
lee
johnston
s.clarke
tait
haddin
hifenhaus
hogg
m.clark
mcgrath is a legend but i just think its time to give it away,im sure he could go on but watching his last three games he looks like he is not that interested,
michael clark is in my opinion overrated he bats like he is playing test cricket and still isn't making big scores and i would consider leaving him out of the squad in favour of d.hussey or vogues

most important though we need to pick a side and stick with it,and no more of dropping players to try different players the side needs to settle.

Picking players who are looking for form in the final was the dumbest thing i have ever seen. Then dropping Stuart Clarke was a joke. But its no coincidence that loosing Symonds affected the mentality of the blokes
They have the chappele hadley tournament to test guys out.

Heres a team of 15 that should be flying over to the West Indies.

1. Hayden (proven performer)
2. Gilchrist
3. Ponting (c)
4. Watson (need's to bat higher in the order)
5. Hussey
6. Symonds
7. White
8. Lee
9. Braken
10. Clarke
11. Mc Grath
12. Johnson
13. Hogg
14. Clarke
15. Tait

6.

I think they erred by leaving out Stuart Clark from the finals squad and not playing Clark and Mitch Johnson in the finals. Clark would most likely have been 12th man, but still should be around the squad. I think that Cameron White should probably still have been in the side, as his replacements Hogg and Watson did not bowl well enough to justify selection instead.

The 2 Michaels - Clarke and Hussey - need to fins some form in NZ before the world cup, and our bowlers need to work on their bowling in the last 10 overs as we have leaked too many runs.

I actually wanted to cry out when aussies lost.
But, yes....the selecting hands fell on bad ones i think. Why do they have to hang on the out-of-form hayden when phil jacques and so many other guys are queing up behind ,nail biting for their role in the team?
Maybe aussies wanted to test the taste of being defeated......pitying the bulldogs...

Selection for the world cup should be strictly as per proven record, current form and experience.
