Don't worry about it... there's more you can do to make him happy, isn't there?

i understand if it affects your emotion, most likely brings out negative emotions. But let's be realistic here! I think it's normal that people have likes and dislikes. So i think if he's being honest by telling you that he doesn't like the present but saying it in a sweet way ('honey, thanks for the present. But this present won't be useful to me. But still, thanks for your loving gift'), then you should just accept it with an open heart. I think honesty is a good communication in order to have a good relationship (and a healty one). Just imagine, if your the one who doesn't like your boyfriend present? wat'd u say to him? how'd u convey ur dislike? is it gonna be harsh, numb, or in a sweet way? I think the best way is to treat him like u want him to treat you if you were in his place...

It really doesnt matter. Ask his consideration.......Tell that you still have another gift , more special, more beautiful than the other one ............and that is your love towards him.
Happy Valentines day..

Make sure you don't get him another one. He should be grateful that you even bothered.
