Buddy listen up there were never UFO's at area 51 the wreckage was a weather baloon used for recording flight conditions, don't forget area 51 is a testing ground for the USAF's prototype aircraft so they had to log all the weather conditions the plane was under during it's test flights to maintain the accountability of the test data, and most of the major sightings were early post WWII era so all planes back then were conventional, straight winged aircraft, odds are the UFO's seen were early Delta-wing airplanes face it when compared to conventional planes of the 40's any delta winged aircraft would seem pretty alien, a lot of the planes built are pretty alien looking for their time such as the SR-71 Blackbird, The F-117 Nighthawk, the YF-23 Black Widow, the F/A-22 Raptor, and etc, in fact take any aircraft engineer of the 60's they'd think the F-117 should fly like a rock
and odds are the MIB's are either homeland security or MP's
making sure nut job countries like north korea can never get their hands on an aircraft that could cause devastating amounts of destruction if used for terrorism

MIBs exists just as much as they always have. I personally haven't heard too much about them recently because of three reasons: no new documents have been declassified recently, no new mainstream TV shows/series have come out about it (when WAS the last 'When Aliens Attack' FOX series aired?), and I've stopped listening to Art Bell/George Norry.
My personal theory behind Area 51 is this (considering how the government likely works):
Area 51 (officially known as the 'Air Force Installation Near Groom Lake') is an airbase used for chemical weapons experimentation or drilling/training. (They have an exemption from local pollution laws that has been renewed every year for years.) Other than that, it's just a normal air base.
Why do they have such tight security and why a private security firm?
Because of the tourists. It would be pretty bad for PR and liability if a tourist managed to get exposed to agent orange because they were trespassing on government property.
Private security? It's cheaper to have a dedicated security firm guard the area than to have highly trained air force troops doing it. And being a dedicated security firm, security is their business. Not flying planes or operating communications or observations equipment. The security firm is specialized to keep tourists out and maintain an intimidating image of the base.

No, they all left this galaxy in a time machine for one far, far away and a long time ago, with the hopes of joining the Jedi in their struggle against the Sith. Area 51 is nothing more than a Stargate.

It's pointless to try going to Area 51, you won't be able to, it is monitered and guarded by the government/military, if you get close, they make you leave, I wouldn't try staying, they would probably kill you.
