There's definitely a chance! There's always a chance of pregnancy when you have sex, whether you're on your period or not. I believe the percentages go down when you're mestruating, but even so, you could always be part of that small percentage. Good luck!

Though possible, it is highly unlikely that you will get pregnant during your monthly menstrual cycle. During your period, your body works to shed the uterine lining that it has been building up over the last month, in preparation for pregnancy. When you don’t become pregnant, small uterine contractions begin, encouraging the unfertilized egg and unused endomorphism to be shed from the uterus and through the vagina. This means that there is no egg in the fallopian tubes to become fertilized and no lining to help a developing embryo to implant properly. This being said, there is a small possibility of pregnancy during your period. Women often mistake slight bleeding that can occur with ovulation as their period. Unprotected sex at this time can greatly increase your chances of becoming pregnant. Additionally, sperm can live in the female reproductive system for up to three days. Because some women ovulate at the very end of their menstrual periods, sperm may still be alive at this point, and able to fertilize an egg.

Do not believe anyone that says you can not get pregnant while on your period. Technically you can get pregnant at anytime of the month. If you are engaging in unprotected sex, then, stop. You need to educate yourself on sex, STD'S, and pregnancy because you obviously don't have a clue. You are an accident waiting to happen and then the question you'll be asking is," I'm a teenager and I'm pregnant. What do I do?" Whine, Whine, Whine. Take a little responsibility for your own actions and try to use the common sense that God gave you.

Something that girls often forget (or don't know) is that having sex is not this one chance thing. The sperm depositied in your body can live for WEEKS after intercourse. You may not be at the peak of fertility during your menstruation, but you will be in a few weeks.

Sweetie, this cannot be stressed enough.Reguardless as to when your cycle is,or even if you are on it,there is a possibility of pregnancy if you have unprotected intercourse.Even when using protection you are definately juggling that chance. No protection is 100% effective so,therefore there is still a chance of pregnancy.Anytime, and i literally mean anytime you engage in intercourse you are risking becoming pregnant, and even contracting stds. Before you engage in sexual activities with anyone you need to be able to speak to them about their sexual history. If you cannot do so,you shouldnt be engaging in intercourse with them. You should also consider whether you are old enough to be a mother(which i am assuming not, hence the question),or whether you would ever consider this person to be the father of your children. If you answer no to those, you should NOT be engage in sexual intercourse with him as well.It is important that you educate yourself about sexual intercourse, and its risks. If you MUST engage in sexual intercourse,my suggestion to you is to make an appt with an obgyn or find one in your area and make an appt.Consult with them about you possibly being placed on birth control. This isnt 100% effective, and doesnt prevent contraction of std's,but with another form of protection your chances are a small percentage slimmer. However,it isnt much. You must ultimately decide whether or not, that few minutes of pleasure is worth the live changing consequences it results in.Pregnancys and std's are definately life changing. My suggestion is that, you should consider waiting until your an adult,to engage in adult activities.Dont be in a hurry to grow up,once these years are gone, they are gone and they do NOT come back.Cherish them while they are here.Good luck hun and have a good day.

It is possible. It isn't clinically safe because you can realease and egg while you are on your period. Though, I don't think it is likely it is still possible. Now, if you used a condom your probably safe. If you are on birth control you are probably safe. If he pulled out you are a lot safer than if he didn't pull out at all. I read on wikipedia that is rather unlikly for a woman to get pregnant on pre-ejaculation (precum) but it is still possible.

There is always a risk of getting pregnant whether you have your period or not. It may seem a good idea, but it is not an excuse for proper protection. Kinda messy too.. but yeah. Better Safe Than Sorry!

well you can fall pregnent anytime before or after your menstration and during your body ovulates throughout the cycle so the best way to protect yourself is to use protection or not have sex at all
