I was wondering what the possibilities of being in a doctoral program are, all while teaching 9-3pm weekdays. Is this possible?

Phd studies mean conducting your own research and meeting your surpervisor occassionally to discuss the progress and getting advice. You would normally submit a draft chapter to your surpervisor who would read it and then arrange meeting with you for further discussions.

You therefore can register for PhD and do whatever you want, provided you set aside certain time for your research and putting together your findings in a written form.

I cannot see, therefore, why you should not be able to teach at whatever level and at the same time be a PhD student. Infact, if your PhD subject is related to education or teaching you will be in a better position to feed back your research with concrete fieldwork.

I did my PhD while I was working as broadcaster and managed to finish my PhD in just 3 years, yet my subject had nothing to do with broadcasting. I passed in flying colours. When I finished I got employed by my own University as lecturer and in three years I was promoted to Associate Professor.

You can and should.

I sincerely wish you the best.

the reply is money. there have been different peoples who "got here across" us of a previously Columbus. yet Columbus did it at a time that it become financially major. He ought to conquer land for Spain. He ought to carry lower back slaves. He concept there become gold, yet that become no longer found in the parts he concept. He also become no longer certain about the land he found. His coordinates were precise heading in the right route for India (a similar variety as Haiti) yet there become no satellite tv for pc image to inform him what lands were the position. Columbus got here across trading and economic income for Europe. He began the finished ball of colonization rolling. that is why that it truly is taught that he's the tremendous dude. money talks. some issues not in any respect replace. Antonio

Yes--it's possible. But you'll almost certainly have to do it part time. But its doable (a faculty member n my department did it teaching hhigh school).

I don't knowhow much sleep you'll get, though! :)
