WE WENT TO GET A FONE FOR MY NIECE, T MOBILE DO A CONTRACT CALLED U FIX & THOUGHT THIS WAS IDEAL, THEY RAN A STREET CHECK AND TOLD US THE COVERAGE WAS GOOD. THE NEXT DAY WE TRIED TO USE THE PHONE AND DISCOVERED THAT WE NEEDED TO HANG OUT THE WINDOW TO GET ANY KIND OF COVERAGE, SO WE DECIDED TO TAKE IT BACK, WHEN WE GOT BACK TO THE STORE WE WERE TOLD THAT WE COULDNT BRING IT BACK AS THERE WASNT A MANAGER ON SITE TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT, SURELY IF THESE PEOPLE CAN SELL YOU A CONTRACT THEY CAN CANCEL ONE. WE REFUSED TO TAKE IT BACK AS WE WERE WELL WITHIN OUR 14 DAYS AND IT WASNT CONVENIENT FOR ME TO TAKE IT ALL THE WAY BACK HOME & BRING IT BACK ON A DAY THAT SUITS THEM, AS A RESULT MY FRIEND AND THE GUY IN THE SHOP ENDED UP IN A SCUFFLE WHICH INVOLVED 4 SECURITY BEING CALLED AND AS A RESULT NOTHING WAS SORTED, I REFUSED TO BRING THE PHONE AWAY & HE SAID HE WAS WITHIN HIS RIGHTS TO LEAVE IT OUTSIDE THE SHOP AS IT WASNT THERE PROPERTY, BUT I LEFT WITHOUT IT, SURELY THIS CANT BE RIGHT?

We did have a cooling off period, it was 14 days and as we had only had it 24 hrs we were well within our period and the security involved have logged that we took it back.

hi
ive already put up an ask about TMOBILE service and i agree with you they are the worst service ive ever had from a phone shop
UNHELPFULL unless they are selling you something
DONT want to know when you have a problem
MAKE things as awkward for you if something is wrong
TREAT you as if your a lowlife because you have a problem
forgot to add the manager in the shop i went to said the phone coudnt be exchanged as it was badly scratched
IT had a tiny mark about 3 mil long thinner than a hair on the outside case
i rest my case so to speak
SO TO ALL OUT THERE BE WARNED DONT GO TO A TMOBILE SHOP if you want good after sales service
I must say it takes a lot to wind me up but i came very close to looseing my temper with their staff.

Get back to the shop and get the contract cancelled - otherwise you are going to have to pay for the contract term. That will work out to a lot of money.
You should have taken your phone with you, it is yours until your contract is cancelled. You have made a bad situation very much worse.
You should have asked when the manager was in next and gone back. Now you may have a lot of difficulty and risk having to pay for the whole contract term, despite not having the phone.

they should have cancelled the contract for you as its within the 14 days, i just did the same thing with a phone from orange, took it back and was only asked if something was wrong with it, contract was cancelled without any bother. you should have taken the phone with you, you have no proof that you dont have it and could end up paying for the whole contract period
