I also was wondering if they're at all close to downtown Seattle and how to get to them from there, ie. walking, buses

Jimi Hendrix at Greenwood Memorial Park - Renton.
Not far, about 15 to 20 minute drive from downtown Seattle on I-5.
Jimi has a brand new memorial pavilion, beautiful! And about time.

Bruce and Brandon Lee at Lakeview Cemetary in Capitol Hill
5 minute drive from downtown, and walkable as well.

Denise Levertov (Beat Writer) also buried in Lakeview.

Of course there is no gravesite for Kurt Cobain, but throughout the year, and especially on the anniversary of his death, people come to the little park bench next to his house to pay tribute.
Names from all over the world are carved on the bench.
It isn't a park really, but they call it Kurt's Park. It is at 171 Lake Washington Drive.
This is not walkable unless you are feeling good, real good...from downtown. But city bus takes you there from downtown.

Hope that helps.

The Graves of Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee

The Graves of Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee
Location: Seattle, Washington
What's Cool: Colorful, stylish, and quite emotive
-----------------------------------------
Buried side by side, Bruce Lee (1940–1973) and his son Brandon (1965–1993) have beautifully simple graves that are quite moving. Bruce Lee's tombstone is very angular and done in brilliant red with gold lettering in English and Chinese. A black-and-white photo of him graces the top while an open book rests at the bottom. The English inscription carved into the book reads: "Your inspiration continues to guide us toward our personal liberation." Beside it is Brandon Lee's tombstone, an impressive, fluid form with his name also carved in gold. Behind both tombstones is a stone bench with the inscription: "Husband and father, son and brother, you are always with us." Both of these tombstones are inspiring and definitely worth admiring.
