Where I live most stores will give you the first item for free (up to 10 dollars) if the scanned price is more than the displayed price.

I can usually remember the price of all items in my cart and I get overcharged quite often (and then get the item for free).

I sort of pay attention, but I put too much faith in the scanners. If you get overcharged often I'm going to have to watch more carefully. Thanks for the info. I didn't know about the ten bucks either.

There are 3 varieties of question: There are those which I planned to be genuine, requiring genuine solutions; ones i attempt to respond to and supply common experience solutions to. There are those that are fairly ridiculous yet ...... nicely i will get 2 factors for giving the two ridiculous solutions and there are those I basically forget approximately via fact of their stupidity or silliness; they're meaningless or offensive and that i'd desire to purely answer them with the two offensive replies yet attempt to steer away from ... except i've got been on the sherry returned. There can be a brilliant quantity which i've got not got the understanding or time time answer

I try to pay attention while the items are being scanned but it's really difficult when I go shopping with my two little ones. So I try to look things over on the reciept if I can at least before leaving the parking lot. When I'm by myself I'm able to give my full attention so then I know for sure I don't get over charged while standing right in front of the cashier watching him/her scanning the items.

I keep a mental track of the approximate amount of my purchases, and I am usually within 1-2 dollars.

I have no clue. I trust them to do the right thing. I am sure I have been overcharged many times.

No, I have a terrible memory, unlike you. Where I live, they just check the price, and then give it to you for the actual price.

I don't pay attention most of the time. I only notice if it is way more expensive than it should be.
