it is not so hard to believe. the loss of a child ( not only a son) will be so heart-breaking thing to any mother. it is as if a part of her is torn asunder. yes i have seen such things happen.

Its not so hard for me to believe!! I have 2 sons, and I know that if anything were to happen to either of them I would just want to die too!!

I don't see why not. Look at older couples. In a very high percentage of older couples they die within a couple of months of each other. I have also see health documentaries where people had died from a broken heart. If anything happened to my kids I don't know what I would do. My daughter is having her tonsils out tomorrow and I am scared to death of what could happen.

But it is so possible because we dont handle grief the same way. They need a lot of support so that they realise there is a future ahead. If they were close to the son, they gotta know, he would wish them happy.

Death is a part of life,,, but my life had new meaning when my son was born... I am not a woman,, but a man, and because my purpose in life has changed since becoming a dad,,,i understand.

I lost my daughter. Yes you can actually feel and almost hear it when your heart breaks.
You can also die from a thousand other things, or nothing at all. Sometimes it all depends on whether or not you've given up.

Some people just focus on that one thing. when a family member passes on- just accept it, there's nothing one can do to bring them back. One needs to do something to keep themselves busy from thinking about that terrible sorrow.
