just curious, how does a baby breath inside of the mother?

The baby's blood is oxygenated through the umbilical cord by the maternal ciculatory system. The baby does "practicice" breathing amniotic fluid at around 32 weeks gestation.

threw the cord and then when there ready to be born if you have a ultra sound you can see them doing practice breathing.

it "breaths" amniotic fluid. that is the liquid that surrounds the baby in the uterus
