I'll rate it as a 9.
It's a fantastic movie. To think that this movie was based on the Disney Pirates of the Caribbean Ride is unbelieveable. I mean the ride is at least 5 minutes long and Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot came up with a movie over 2 hours long.
The cast is extremely talented, but the character Elizabeth could've used a little more work, but they made up for that in the second movie.
I would rate Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest a 10!
This movie was unbelieveable!
The cast, the visual effects, the soundtrack, the places they filmed it, and the story line are absolutely amazing!
I became more attached to the characters as they grew in this film.
This movie left me extremely anxious for At World's End to come out sooner!

I'll rate it a 9. I have to admit I didn't know that Disney could make a "good" movie without putting a princess in it. I thought the story was great and it was really planned out. The comedic performance by Johnny Depp was great, as well as the other characters. It was a really awesome movie!!

I would give it a 9. It is a fantastic movie and the actors and actresses are great. Nobody can act and play that role better than Johnny Depp. I am anxiously awaiting for part 3 to be shown.

I enjoyed Pirates1, esp. the sword combat on the top, the place you will see them substitute from human form to skeletons, and each at times mixed based on the mild, that became marvelous! on no account considered something like that earlier. i might supply it an 8. Pirates 2 bored me nonetheless...Johnny Depp became humorous interior the 1st one, in Pirates 2, he became stressful. I even have yet to work out Pirates3.

i'd say 7 because its agood movie but some kids watch it and some parts might scare them other than that i really like that movie.........
