try buy on christmas holiday
normal price usually rm7k can go up to rm 25k
the best thing is the flight is nearly overbooked

First, because they can. Secondly, it's good business policy. If you have more people wanting to go somewhere than you have capacity for, raise the prices. You'll still sell the same number of tickets, but now you have more money. Casinos have been known to raise their prices on hotels on weekends and holidays... same reason.

Yea, I wonder why! The fuel consumption is still the same just that the demand has increased. Only if the bus companies could do the same, they will be rich by now. My bas sekolah (school bus) fares always remain the same. kesian abang abang yang bawak bus.

because they implement revenue/yield management. And as you've said, near CNY people travel more during this period as we many are workaholics or have bosses who doesn't approve leaves. Lastly, some felt its better to spend their money on themselves; paying exp tix to get out of the country, rather than giving angpows to reckless kids.

whenever there is demand, any ticket will go up for sure! just like stock market, when people like that stock they will pay for higher price. if there is no demand prices drop.

Because they know people will be flying at that time of year. They KNOW it. People WILL be flying. When they know they will have the business, they charge more.
