Did you see "Norbit" yet? What do you think of it? I did'nt see it yet but I think it's hilarious just buy looking at the commercial.

I laughed my a$s off... and so did everyone else in the theater. I went on opening night and there were about 200 people who were lined up to see it.

Funny. Laughed numerous times. Many other great actors in the film that were not even mentioned(the pimp from the Friday after next, and the comedian from Malcolm and Eddie; the father to Chris from Everybody hates Chris). It was like watching a hen pecked man. A cheating but jealous wife. Norbit was belittled and deceived constantly. Norbit childhood sweet heart from the orphanage reappears after some years.

I saw it yesterday and it was ok.
One thing bothered me was that people found Rasputia (one of Eddie Murphy's roles in the movie) entertaining in the movie because she was fat.
I personally didn't laugh at the fat jokes because obesity (as well as anorexia) is a very serious issue among human beings and if not taking care of it will lead to a lot of health problems not to mention the self-esteem factor. My mother had low self esteem because she was overweight for her height and she would not do things that not so overweight people did because of that. She died though.
But fat jokes aside, it was an ok film. Not one of his best, though.

I was really surprised! It was NOT one of Eddie's best movies. I wish I had waited to rent it from Blockbusters instead of dealing with the movie lines and paying 7 bucks!

It was Eddie being Eddie! It was very funny and had some crazy and gross images. Like the fat lady with the swim suit...uggh.

It was funny in parts but too long & over the top. The animal cruelty in it wasn't funny & made it a real downer.
