I often get confused with the ussage of the following words.Please help as my exams are approaching.I am in 8.Can't find it in books.

did means completed.

Do,does and did al thyree are the helping verbs.
Do- indicates the present tense and is used in negative and interrogative sentences for plural subjects.
Does- indicates the present tense and is used in negative and interrogative sentences for singular subject.
Did- indicates the past tense and is used in negative and interrogative sentences for singular as well as plural subjects.

you do not get confused.
its the present form whatever actions u r performing now.
he does his homework well.
does is whatever someone is going to perform.
did is past.
he did his work.

with first and second person we use ' do ' .
first person include : i , etc...
second person include : you , your , etc...

and with third person we use ' does '
third person include : he , she , it , etc... but always remember that third person should be singular .
like we can not use does with they .

and last ' did ' is use in past tense .. no matter which person it is ..

Past tense:
I did

do and does used in the present tense and did used in past tense.
do attach with i ,we,you,they,your.them,us and does used with he,she ,it.but did used with all in past tense.

do and does are used in present tense.
do is used with plural nouns.
eg: children do their work.

but do is also used with i and you.
eg; i do my works. you do your work. etc.

does is used with singular nouns.
eg:the child does its work.

doed is not used with you and i.

did is used in past tense both with singular and plural forms.
eg: she did her work, we did it well.
