ipod video VS. microsoft Zune?

i don't get the whole "i hate microsoft!" sayings.. jeez, get over yourself. lols.
anyway, i am purchasing a zune or an ipod video, and feel free to share your opinions on here, as to which one is better. i want a zune, because EVERYONE i know has a ipod, and i want sometihing different. however....are there some bad qualities of the zune? LET ME know!!! =]

I would say you should get the iPod, a lot of people have them for good reason at that, but I am sure you know all about them. The Zune on the other hand is not up-to-par with the iPod. I think the menu's and display on the iPod are a lot better/easier to manage. The wireless sharing that the Zune has is limited, and while yes - you can share songs wirelessly, the songs only stay on the other users' Zune for a few days.

wow, the Zen Vision:M blows the iPod and Zune Away.
well in terms of sound quality, video quality, features codecs supported and non propietary software, more choices in what store to use for music and videos... themes comes with 6. the zen also has the better screen the zunes may be bigger but the zens is sharper, brighter, and MUCH more vibrant.. did i mention that it has a microphone and fm recording? OH and it supports 7 video formats. man im mean it also supports pictures with a resolution of 16 mega pixels for iPods vga and zunes vga..
btw, the zen is much more customizable,. menus, backgrounds zooming in on them and with color filters. such as black and white, warm, cold, sephia and i think normal. and the zen also supports 262,144 colors on the screen vs iPod's and Zune's mealsy 65,000

ipod touch. once you first get it there isnt plenty which you're able to do on it different than surf the internet purchase songs watch movies on youtube and hear music. yet thats plenty. you additionally could make it greater like an iphone via doing something referred to as jailbreaking it which provides it waayy greater issues you're able to do on it. i like the zune
