For those who are not familiar with the history of Tibet and Chinese violence against people in Tibet, please watch these videos first.

By the way, the PRC is under the Communist regime.

Don't be so fast to buy into what the TV news is telling you. What do you think the reason would be for the Chinese government to create trouble now. NONE. Don't you know half the stuff they tell you on TV news is fabricated to get you all excited and watch their shows. The Chinese government is not some monster, like the media would like you to believe. Right now, trouble is the last thing they need. The media has been on a "slam China " kick for a good 9 months now. Don't be so fast to buy into false stories!!! My daughter works in a car plant in Tibet. The Chinese people don't talk trash about the Dalia Lama. And China is definitely not a terrorist state. Why don't you go there and see for yourself. I hope people aren't believing this **stuff about China killing it's own people. And they don't have sex shops, etc. there or in Tibet. You need to get out more.

We can't. The world didn't care when the central Chinese administration was suppressing Uygurs, the world didn't care when it was suppressing Turkistanis, and the world doesn't care when it is suppressing Tibetans.

If the world cared enough, the world would do something about the massacre in Darfur today.

If the world cared enough, the massacres in Africa (perpetrated by members of the "civilized Western world") a few decades back wouldn't happen.

The "world" as you say it (I understand "the West", because elsewhere people raise their voices but the "world" just doesn't care) cared enough, peoples would object to their own governments' colonialist massacres. The "world" only cares when there is some financial or political benefit behind it.

Think about the toppling of a dictator in Iraq and a misnamed, misconstrued and understudied "Armenian genocide" supposedly done by Ottoman officials held against Turkey.

Funny. If so, why NY Times, Washington Post, WSJ do not tell us that? Why the UN and US do not know? China is no longer a communist country. Only N. Korea and Cuba are still communist countries. Please do not turn race issue into a political lie. If you do not like Chinese people living in Tibet, say so.We can understand.

I thought all of that ended years ago--after the Dalia Lama fled to India. There has been nothing about this on recent news, to my knowledge.
