Are the top of mountains so cold..
they are closer to the sun than the lower land. So why doesn't it get warmer?

top mountains are cold Because within the troposphere, temperature decreases with altitude.

the pressure of the air decrease in the top of the mountains so the number of molecules decrease there therefor the warm weather cant move ther easily and that place is cold.

Boyle's Law. Pressure is proportional to temperauture. There is less (air) pressure the higher you go. So the tops of mountain are colder.

because the warmth escapes through the atmosphere, and since mountains are closer to the atmoshere, the warmth from the earth is lost, wich makes it cold. Also, clouds form at about that hight, which means that rain and snow is forming [rain + snow= cold]
