If President Lincoln were able to observe from the Lincoln Monument what was happening in Washington D. C. these days, as a fellow lawyer and skilled speaker and debater, Lincoln would surely have to admit that Barack Obama would have been his toughest opponent ever. Abraham Lincoln may have lost the election if he had debated Barack Obama instead of Stephen Douglas.

What do you think, is it important to be chrismatic in a presidential election, and do you think Barack Obama is charismatic?

Charisma is very, very important. Just look at Bill Clinton's charisma and how far it took him in his races. JFK is another example, charisma+ - and an example of someone who had little experience as well. My favorite candidate remains Hillary but I have a lot of admiration for Obama and look forward to seeing him out on that campaign trail. It's going to be the most interesting Presidential race in decades.

I think he is attractive, articulate, charismatic and charming. But, he has his shortcomings and these can't be undone or overlooked by a few superficial qualities. Not by thinking, open minded individuals who can see beyond the exterior. And many occupants of the Democratic party obviously can''t, or won't. And that may prove disastrous for all of us.

I think he is charismatic, but more importantly, he can unite people more than Hillary Clinton can. I think he can unite across the parties.
