The formula is : Date of last period plus 2 weeks, minus 3 months plus 1 year. For example, last period July 1 2006, plus 2 weeks is July 15 2006, minus 3 months would be April 15 2006, plus 1 year would give you a due date of April 15 2007. hope this helps! Ultrasounds help determine the babies size, weight and development which will help determine the due date, this is used mostly with people who have irregular periods.

I'm pretty sure this is how they do it.... the last day of your last period + 9 months + 7 days. Thats how they did mine anyway. Say the last day of your last period was February 7th (add 9 months) November 7th (plus 7 days) November 14th... and thats the due date!!! It's usually not correct though and it is possible to have one small period after you are already preggers. When you get your first ultra-sound they will measure the baby and calculate how far along you are from there. The date may change (my friend's due date was changed 3 times!!!)

this one is simple, learned it in nursing.
Take the 1st day of your last period. Go back three months, and add 7 days.
For example Jan 1 was 1st day of last period. Go back 3 months to October 1st. Add 7 days and get October 8th.

around January 8th from the days you provide for theory. that's 38 weeks from theory via fact with a common 28 day cycle it may be 40 weeks from you final era, and theory is two weeks after that. yet easily verify it out with your wellbeing practitioner, as quickly as they do the ultrasound they are going to be waiting as much as now you much greater efficient! solid good fortune!

They normally go by the first day of your last period, until you have an ultrasound...which them gives them a clearer time line.
