If he is still available, Adrian Peterson. I would go for the best RB in the draft, Peterson. Don't be surprised if Peterson isn't available when the Brown's pick is up though. People in the league are trying to act like they won't pick him, but they all secretly covet him. Peterson is a freak. Strongest AND fastest player on the Sooners. If you have seen him play, you know how he dominates the field. There will be more Brady Quinn-like players in the next 10-20 years, but players like Adrian Peterson are rare. Once in a generation.

If I was Cleveland I would draft Adrian Peterson over Brady Quinn due to need of a rb over a qb at this time. Personally , however, I would hope that Peerson would fall to #16 and Green Bay.

I agree, they'd get more use out of a marquee RB than a marquee QB right now, so I'd say Peterson.
Frye isnt spectacular, but he's developing nicely. I'd rather have a Charlie Frye taking my snaps than a JP Losman or a David Carr, who both developed a lot more slowly and seemed at times to hit plateaus in their skill level. I think, given another year or two to develop, he'll be a consistent QB; he may not make many Pro Bowls, but he'll do well enough distributing the ball to all the talent they have on offense.
Frye looked a lot better this year with Braylon Edwards, and especially with Kellen Winslow taking some pressure off him in the short field. Adding an every-down back like Peterson would take even more pressure off Frye and the O-line, and allow them to open up a more ground-oriented game that would help to then open up the pass for Frye.
With so many high-pick offensive draft choices starting to pan out this year, they're only one good RB away from having a solid and, more importantly, young core offense that they can continue to build around for the next few seasons, and perhaps start to challenge the Ravens, who are going to be showing their age very soon.

Adrian Peterson, look at the nickname he got at OU,A.D. for all day.He would probably help the Browns more than Brady Quinn.Brady Quinn was a pretty good QB and Notre Dame but to me he is just a college level QB.I see Browns getting Peterson,if not picked by Texans, and trying to get a veteran QB by FA or trading. They could probably get Bledsoe from Dallas.Bledsoe would probably like to finish his carrer as a starting QB.

They should try and land Alan Branch out of Michigan. The Browns are looking good at LB with Wimbley and Jackson and if you throw in a solid defensive lineman in Branch, it should lead to some major pass rushes from the outside on defense.
Peterson is good, but not the best RB in the draft. Marshawn Lynch is better.
Quinn is solid, but he will not be the answer at QB. Not to mention, as good as a career Quinn has had in college, he's never been able to win the big games.

Peterson is your best option, Quinn will be a good QB in the NFL in 2 or 3 years but Peterson is ready now. Another option would be to trade for a later 1st round and a solid player to get Lynch who is also ready for the NFL.

The Browns would ought to commerce as a lot as get Russell and that is purely what they ought to do. they fairly opt for a QB and Quinn or Russell would do ideal!...the position as i'd propose Oakland and Detroit to commerce down, i imagine the Browns are very close and with the right guy taking the snaps, ought to compete for the playoffs next twelve months...In 2-3 years they could win all of it with Russell or Quinn!..do not anticipate miracles the first twelve months...they can't all be like that Wolverweenie Tom Brady (Whom i love, dang it!!!...LOL) Make a manage Oakland or Detroit...Take Russell if he's there, Quinn if he isn't any longer!

I'd say Adrian Peterson. He'd be immediate help. Quinn, at best, is a long term project.

Depends who the Lions take. I think the Lions will either take Quinn or Peterson, and the Browns will take the other one.
