What would someone recommend for an instrument microphone about $80-110. Right now im thinking about the Shure SM57, and the Sony ECMMS907.

The Shure SM57 is one of the most popular instrument microphones of all time.

The Shure 520DX for harmonica.

The Shure PG52 for kick drum & the Shure PG56 for snare & tom. (Getting both will go way over your budget.)

The Shure Beta 98H/C for wind instruments.

The Sennheiser E609 for Guitar.

The Shure SM57 is a dynamic mic, good for spaker cabinets (guitar amps) and drums. You don't say what you want to do with it. The SM58 is popular for vocals, but again it's dynamic so good for live work, you might want a condenser microphone for recording.
Take a look at:

That somewhat depends on what you're going to be using it to mic. You can't go wrong with the SM57, though. It will do a good job on just about anything. I have mics costing 5-10 times more than that, and I'll still use it on a snare drum, guitar cabs, horns, etc.
