someone told me last night that they have always envied me.
awkward is a good word cuz of the way I feel about my life now, and how I envied her, to be in a position of having more power over the way her life looks like it's turning out. grass is always greener, honey.

Akward. I don't like people to envy me, it can lead to problems. Admiration would be different, but with envy you can't share your successes with the other person because it may make them resent you.

If they are envious of me, they must think I have something that they dont have, so I would see if I could offer them some of what I have so that they would feel less envious. I would feel compassionate toward them.

It would make me want to know what exactly I have that they would want and help them to achieve what it is they are envious over.
