Mine goes like this. I sleep really late because I work at night. I get up around noon, good off with my stay at home wife for a couple of hours before she has to go pick up the kids from school. Then I start working. I do networking and programming work for a living. I will work for two hours while they are doing their homework then I take about a four hour break and goof off with the kids. Then I get back to work once they are in bed around 9pm. I will work all night, until about 5am most nights, writing code or remotely managing various networks I am in charge of maintaining. I go to bed and it starts all over again. My life is like a vacation that sucks even though I admit, I do get to see my family a lot, which is nice. Anyway, what is your life like, in a nutshell?

I get up at 730, get the kids up. While they are getting dressed, I make breakfast. After 30 minutes of chaos the bus comes. Then its time to get ready for work. I work, shop for dinner, and get home in time for the kids to get off the bus. Then I multitask between dinner and homework. After an hour or so, its time to pack everyone into the car for an hour and a half round trip to the train station to get my husband. We get home finish dinner, finish any homework that didn't get done, then its time for showers. I start laundry, dishes, and laying out cloths for school the next day. I get the kids in bed, finish the laundry and cleaning I started, maybe watch a show or two with my husband, then go to sleep. That goes on all week. The weekends consist of cleaning anything that doesn't get done during the week. Very monotonous.

I wake up and say my morning prayer. Then I clean and have tea and a muffin and vitamins. Then I look for work in one way or another. I visit my mother and do whatever she needs done. Then home to watch the Young and the Restless. I go for a walk at some point in the day. I make dinner. Read a book or play in Yahoo. I work my daily prayers in between all of this. Then I eat popcorn and go to bed.

Next thing I know the alarm is waking me up for prayer again and it starts all over.

I do have bright spots, honest! It is just a lot slower now that my children are grown up and I do not have the demands of homework, meals, sports, transportation, etc etc.

I know the world, all too well. But I am not a pessimist. What kind of children would I have raised if I had been?

I was born smart, but never smart enough.
I have a good job, but my boss still owes me a year salary.
I alway wanted to travel, and sometimes I have money for it, but with the current job never have time for it.
I dream about visit to the JPL labaratories, or MIT or CALTEC but I would not get visa for the visit.
I would like to have a normal society around myself, and a normal state that cares about its citizens, but I live in a state that at least 50 % of citizens have PTSD, where politicians are corrupt, where there is no vision of future, where most of the young people leave for the west, which is just around the corner.
I can see foreign television, see the low prices for books, educational material etc., but I have to pay double for the transport of the same goods to my location.
I would like to have a small business, selling and working what I would enjoy, but I live in a small town and the whole region has only 200 000 citizens from which only a small percentage has a regular job.
So the only good thing was that there were no crime rate as in the west , but that has also changed , the criminals are speeding up.
Once we had a good health security , but today without money the only advice is dont get sick.
Even when you have money , you must bribe every doctor and a medical worker to get few examinations.
about getting married and have familiy, I have spent my youth in war, and when I had to have a girlfriend and vacations , I have fought my enemy and seen my friend die one by one.
So never married on time , and now live as a single,
I can see stupidity in my local authority, but cant change anything, we are called a democratic society but are rulled by international community , but even with the democracy we do not know what to do with that, you are only free to die, get sick and kill a doctor then die, watch a corrupt politician drive a 100000 EUR car and geting past by you on the street.
And the watch a foreign ambasador on tv as he tries to sell another "right " thing us.
So life sucks.
So what.
It goes on.
And you know what ,my best time was during the war.
I knew who was my friend and who was my enemy, I lived for the day and the night and I was happy for the next day and next night.
Today we have a peace that sucks, democracy that sucks, doctors, politicians, that are corrupt, educational system that has some other then educational purposes. professors that are taking bribes for getting you thru studies.

et cetera
