Well i was at a bar when a riot broke out, and yes if i had to defend my right i will protest.

At a union convention we held a protest that shut down four blocks of downtown LA, surrounding a hotel. We were picketing to protest the treatment of HERE members (hotel and restaurant employees.) They were told that if they joined our protest they would be locked out of their jobs. It was a great feeling to voice support for oppressed working Americans.

I started going to protests in Washington DC when I was 18 years old. It was a fun time of being free with your feelings and your politics. I have been to several others and have organized a few. Try it! You may find it really interesting and exciting.

Yeah, I went to UC Berkeley, so there was always some kind of protest to join. Good times, good times.

But I would for a good cause. Like PETA, Greenpeace..I'll do it! But my country's laws do not permit illegal gatherings and protests.
