Maybe they'll let the Lions trade up so that that brain surgeon of a GM, Matt Millen, will take (ta-da) a Wide Receiver!!!

.the will take JAMARCUS RUSSELL QB | L.S.U.
The raiders need a QB and would be stupid if they did not draft a QB when they had the chance. A lot of teams probably have Brady Quinn as the top rated quarterback. However Al Davis likes Russell at 6-6 and 260 pounds Russell has rare size for the position and has been compared to Daunte Culpepper but what really stands out about him is his arm, which might be strongest at any level of the game. The upside and would help bring the vertical passing game back the Bay. The passed on Matt Leinart and Jay Cutler last year. They cant afford to pass on a QB this year.

With the first selection of the 2007 NFL Draft. The Oakland Raiders select Jamarcus Russell-LSU.
Russell is a once in a Decade player. Bigger than Peyton Manning. Arm stronger than Vicks. Faster than Donovan Mcnabb.

that's not common to blame Al Davis. He replace into there while they have been going to the excellent Bowl, too. The Raiders' issues are rooted interior the certainty that, provided that wealthy Gannon retired, they have arise woefully short on the main severe place interior the sport- quarterback. With Jason Campbell there now, the Raiders will end the streak of 11 or greater losses this season. i will just about assure it.

Well they need a whole team here but with that not being an option, they'll get Jamarcus Russell and hope that he can carry the team. Dont really know how much that will help being that Randy Moss wants out immediately.

If past drafts are precedents, they will take the wrong person with the number one pick. It doesn't matter who they draft, it will be the wrong person. The person will be a great athlete and have a $.10 brain

My guess would be no one. I think they will trade the pick. The Raiders need way too much help everywhere. They will trade it away for multiple picks and then Al Davis will screw those up.

I believe they'll take JaMarcus Russell, he's the newest version of Daunte Culpepper and they seriously need a quarterback.
