Friday. most restaurants around were i live get there fish in on Thursday or Friday...

Phone the restaurant and ask which days they get their fish delivered.
Go the the restaurant on that day.

Every restaurant I have even worked at gets their fish fresh every day the only day when the fish might not be very fresh is Sunday.

Ask the Manager what day is it that they get their Fish delivered.
Remember - N E V E R order Fish at a Diner (and) if it is the special of the day - chances are they are discounting it because it's going bad - and soon.
If the place "isn't" HIGH END - DON'T ORDER THE FISH!

Any day but Sunday. A restaurant would not get a shipment on Sunday.

well Mondays, wenday and Fridays just cause in wellington the boat on the wolf come in and unload ever two days. hope it helps
