I'm an American and I think Ahmadinejad is a puppet for the zealot Ayatollahs in Iran. He bows down to them. He wouldn't dare say or do anything that would offend them, even if he wanted to. He is not the power in Iran.

The blogbaba is Irish/American, and he grew up in a predominantly Arab neighborhood (hence the Arabic word baba in his moniker).

Your curiosity about your answerer's nationality's leads the blogbaba to deduct you are either of Middle Eastern Islamic decent, or a National Security spook surfing the web for terrorists. Either way the blogbaba will give you an answer because those to groups need to both get over themselves.

The President of Iran is a pawn of radical Islamic Fundamentalists in much the same way George W. Bush is a pawn of big oil and Bigger Business interests. Both Presidents are certifiable, but Bush already has nukes, and a couple hundred thousand well trained, well armed and blooded soldiers on Ahmadinejad's boarders.

It's a safe bet the Iranians have good reason to live in the same fear their support of terrorists attempts to export to the rest of the non-Islamic world. If they don't get a more reasonable sounding figure head to spout their propaganda, they just might get a nuke a little sooner than they wanted.

Well I wont go into depth about his policies or actions or whether I personally think theyre right or wrong. I will say that him and his immediate family should not have survived this past spring of 06. I believe they should've been kidnapped by a sunni force and their eyes shouldve been gogued out and then they shouldve been left to wander the desert. I dont believe in killing people.

I think he's smart, shrewd, and dangerous. I think he may be leading Iran into war by supplying bomb-making material to insurgents in Iraq, and is begging for trouble by supporting Chavez. His anti-semite comments are also troublesome. He's looking for a fight. I'm American.

I believe he, like most politicians, speaks before thinking. Also, he is insignificant. The real power lies with Khamenei.
