I thought it was easy, and kind of fun. . .but I like puzzles. The SAT tests your POTENTIAL to do well in college, so if you're a natural problem solver it's not that tough.
The biggest setback I see in students preparing for the SAT is a lack of confidence. They freeze up when taking the test because they're overwhelmed by how important it is. My suggestion is:
1. remember you can take it over and over and over if you want.
2. prepare by picking up one of those studying books (or going online), but don't treat studying like scary stressful work. Make it a game. Answer 3 questions and check your answers. Try to get a run where you get all 3 right. Once you do, answer 4 questions. . .then keep going. Have fun with it. Once you start hating it, stop. Start up again in a few minutes.
3. study every night a little bit.
4. Get a good night's sleep the night before and have your stuff ready to go.
5. DON'T stress the test. There will be questions you don't know. . .that's fine. Just do your best. If at the end you think you did badly, you can always choose not to have your scores sent and take it again.

You can't really define how hard something is. It like you can say it is cold outside but it can be 40 degrees F or 0 degrees F. You can't realy give an answer for that. I have taken both the ACT and SAT. The SAT is impossible to study for. You can study test taking tips and the format of the test. YOU CAN"T STUDY FOR SAT TEST. The Test group can ask whatever they want. I think you will do good on the SATs.

The SAT is just a metric, specifically it measures your readiness as a High School Senior for entry into college. The A stands for aptitude, not intelligence, so if you paid attention in class or if you study up, you should get a respectable score. The best scholarships and most exclusive schools require a very high score, and that is hard to obtain. Don't worry, give it your best shot and see how well you stand among your classmates.
