When I think of Pink Floyd, it's so hard to pick 1 song that is the best. Probably because when one listens to any of their albums, you are likely to listen to the whole thing and the story it tells.
For me, it's probably Waiting for The Worms off of The Wall or Run Like Hell from Pulse.

I prefer the Syd Barrett era of the band, so my choice is "Jugband Blues". My choice from the more well known later era of Pink Floyd where Gilmore and Waters were dominant would be either "Time" or "Wish You Were Here".

I would say Astronomy Domine, for these reasons...
The first song the first Floyd album purchaser ever heard... that's cool!
It has the "space psyche" feel that they were founded on
It's a bit recognizable among even the not-so-fans, and very much so among the obsessors.

Comfortably Numb, Hey You, and Wish You were here were all good. The whole “Wish You Were Here” album was amazing.
