I have a palm zire 71 and a cradle/dock. Sometimes, specifically right now the button on the cradle to hotsync just decides not to work. Not sure that I am doing anything wrong It just does not work. I can hotsync from the palm interface it's just the button on the cradle more of a drives me crazy type thing i guess. Does anyone else have this problem and know any way to fix it.

I've faced this problem once, Start your PC in SAFE mode{Restart, press F8 key} remove all the drivers, Un-install the program, reinstall it once and it should work..

I had that problem with my palm treo 650. The cord that plugged into my from from my computer had a little metal piece and it was bent wrong. It got to the point where i couldn't hot sync at all. I bent it back last night with a mini screwdriver and it works just fine. Hope thats what your talking about.
