there's this wierd song by rufus wanewright (spelling?) it was on one of the hear music CDs and i finally tracked it down after years of remembering it. No one ever knew what I was talking about, but I heard it a few time at an internship. It's called the Greek Song. I love it.

Home or 40 Day Dream by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros Obstacle #1 by Interpol Glory by Radical Face Angel in the Snow by Elliot Smith Well anything by these bands really. Radical Face isn't very mainstream, Edward Sharpe is kinda getting there. and I think Interpol is a little more well known with indie.

depending on what you like, check out operation ivy. great old band. more "punk" like. for newer stuff, check out lynam. they are really just getting started trying to make it big and i love their music.
