Um, pyt33, I love "Listen", but I was asking about the Grammy performance and I don't see how a performance on Oprah could compare to "the biggest night in music." Sorry.

Christina Aguilera.. not because it was a tribute to James Brown - the fact that she owned that song the minute she stepped on stage. Amazing amazing performance. Beyonce eat your heart out.

Wow, i became questioning the comparable factor final nighttime!! I searched, yet could no longer discover a recording. i'm questioning that this became purely a overall performance for the Grammy's. It became an miraculous overall performance!!!!

Christina, had a better performance than Beyonce...but Mary J Blige's performance was better than those two.

Pleeeeeeeeease! X-tina is waaaaaaaaay over-rated!! Besides, her singing last night left a lot to be desired if you know anything about real singing. Her career was built on paroding legends. The girl needs to stop faking and be herself; bottom line, she needs to find her own voice and stop biting!!
In regards to Beyonce, the acopella part of the performance was a little shaky, but she can blow!! Did you see her performance of 'Listen' on Oprah? If you've never seen it, you might want to download it on youtube because it was almost as good as a Whitney performance. I like her because she doesn't try to simply emulate everyone else, unlike X-tina. Besides, if you like parodies, you might wanna fly to vegas and check out all the lounge singers who emulate celebrity singers!

am i the ONLY ONE who noticed that Christina let out a blood curdling scream at one point, trying to pass it off as a high note???? other than that, she did ok. Beyonce was better though.
