Rita: No, no. Has a Morgan horse ever had a brindled coat? But, I agree with you that Morgans make great horses. I absolutely love the little gelding I have. He's a pain in the butt though. =P

Yes there are brindled horses and the color shows up in a lot of breeds. They just are not registered as "brindle"since no breed associations recognizes this color. This is a great article on the brindled horse.

I have seen morgans in everything but brindle.

But what do I know?

My Very favouritest horses in the whole world are the Gypsy Vaner Horse.

Please take a look at these amazing beasts.

They have a lot of Friesien blood in them. Gypsies bred these horses for themselves. They are bred to work hard all day then be placid enough for children to play on. They are what is known as a cool horse, placid, calm and intlligent.

What do you mean? Putting a bridle on a Morgan? If so, yes. Morgans are great little horses - for working and riding.

There is some great information about the breed, including coat colours, on this link:

But for specific information on Morgan colours, visit this page:

I've actually never seen one, Under the breed's registry they are not allowed to be.

Depending on it's genes I am sure it could happen in a cross.
