That's good because you can't.

I worried about it a lot too till this happened to me.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

I am sorry that you are dying. I don't want to die either. I am not dying, but I worry a lot that I will die. You never know, I could die tomorrow before you.

I don't have good advice for you. Anything I say is going to sound ridiculous. But I pray that you will feel a spiritual connectedness and maybe entertain the concept that you won't die. That maybe your spirit is an energy that because of your existence is an influence already on the earth and will not go away. Also, I never believed in reincarnation before, but I know someone who does and it makes sense to me in the sense that one thing we do on this earth is we try to learn and grow. And our basic states are always changing.

You can not be reborn in the same way you were born into this life. But you will be reborn in the basic emotional/spiritual state that you are now in. And your soul will go from there, because it is a basic life energy. It doesn't disappear. You will live again. Do you remember when you were born that you felt a certain energy or personality? You had a certain personal knowledge about life which was yours and yours only? That is an energy state that always stays with you through the course of life. It changes and evolves, but will always BE. It will always seek the expression through a vehicle, like the body. You will ALWAYS live.

Those are some things that make me feel better. I hope they make you feel better too.

The alternative would be immortality? Would you rather live forever and watch every person you've ever loved die, everything you've ever created or touched crumble? Surely once age and senility set in you wouldn't prefer to live a life of torture?

Nor is it beneficial to rely on God — there will never be proof of any afterlife, just as there will never be proof of God's existence (or non-existence). You might take it as a leap of faith, but fear of death is fear of the unknown and blindly "believing" that Heaven is in store for you does nothing to give you real certainty.

The only things we can know for sure are the things in this world, in our lifetime, not anything metaphysical or supernatural. Your life has a beginning and an end just as a piece of great music has an opening and closing chord. No song worth listening to goes on and on forever — take what you have and live the life you're already a part of, and if you've lived fully then your last chord will be in tune, and your life itself will be considered a work of art. Would you prefer that over the sound of a record skipping, repeating into infinity?

Why the question mark (?) at the end of the sentence? Just because you want to make it sound it as a question? Or , you are not sure whether you want to die or not ?

Whatever, if you want to do difficult things life try "living". Dying is the easiest of things to do. Living is tough . Living purposefully is tougher still. Living happily is the toughest.

Donot die if you do not want to. At the same time donot live like the dead , with no actions or goals. I may add that those "human bombs" of these dyas are people who are young and who donot want to die at all but are forced or brainwashed to die for a cause. These people are not martyrs but are murderers of humanity.

You could probably benefit from reading Thanatopsis. Aside from that, think about it. Some of us are afraid to die. Our moment of death is unpredictable in many if not most cases. Therefore, since you don't know when you will die, you should have no fear of that moment. One minute you're there, the next your energy escapes into the world around you. It's not like, oh boy, here it comes, only 15 seconds left...do I panic now or wait until the last 5 seconds? Now? Now?.....OK, Now?
Maybe it isn't fear, but you're unsure of the aftermath. Chances are, you won't have to worry about going to hell, because somebody just made that up. Maybe you'll luck out and die having sex or peacefully in your sleep and it won't hurt.

Death is my most favorite part in our life. Its not a period in our life but it is a comma. You are afraid to die, if you dont know where will you go after that. Our life is not ours, our Creator is the owner of our life and we will give it back to Him if wants to. accpet that all men will die and will face the final judgment.

Death is the only constant in this world. Accept it. And make sure your life is meaningful and not harming anyone else physically and mentally . Enjoy life. Bring smile in yourself and everyone around you . Die with grace when it unfolds one day ...

Only suicidal people do. But if you are describing a mortal fear of death, it could be because you dont know what comes after. The christian God promises good life here and a paradise hereafter. Check Him out

I don't think anyone does...but we all will one day. Most people are scared of death because they are afraid of what happens after it. Eventually, we find the reason that we are alive and once we accomplish what we are here to do, we accept that death and the afterlife is what's next for us. But for now, try not to worry about it.

Nobody wants to die. It's something we all hope doesn't happen to us for a long, long time!
