I was quoting Natalie Maines, who quoted The Simpsons during her acceptance speech. So now you know.

Immature? Moi? Thank you. I thought I was starting to get jaded! And I don't need a dictionary to spell "sour grapes", Kelly.

Thanks, Kelly! Now I can paste, too, and what fun!

It's sooo great to know Americans have an open mind........

The song they won for was about the death threats and backlash of violence made over a flippant, ill-timed comment that the media exploited to the fullest, not unlike the one John Lennon made about Jesus Christ.

The song was not about the President.

I adore them, agree with what they have to say, LOVE their album (and I'm not a fan of country music) and am immensely happy they won and are vindicated by their industry.

After All the Crap the Chicks and their fans went thru, this is 110% Vindication for all of us!!! When the Bandwagon fans, Nashville, and the Industry turned their backs on them and us, The Real True Fans. The Real True Fans kept on Supporting them!!! Anybody who is a Real True Fan of theirs is Smiling from Ear to Ear. This makes My Year!!! I went to their Concert in November in Phoenix, it was smaller in scale compared to their last tour when they were Huge, but it was Great to see The Real True Fans come together and support the Chicks!!! So Natalie has every right to do what she did at the Grammys, She could have been Nastier, but it was Great that She did it the way She did it by saying, "Well, to quote the great 'Simpsons' — 'Heh-Heh.' So "Heh Heh" to all those people who turned their backs on the Chicks!!!

Wow! That's a very immature question. I see you want to start drama, but you need to get a dictionary and common sense. The Dixie Chicks are okay but not great enough to win all those Grammy's. Not surprised since they always pull these disappointing stunts towards the end.

Their political views (perfectly correct & appropriate) do not justify their music (perfectly mediocre & horrible) - I root for them to survive the pressure from the neocon pigs, but their music is still disgusting.

Easy to win awards given out by peers who mostly agree with you. I still don't like them, whether they are Grammy award winning recording artists or not. Doesn't mean a thing.
