You need to consider whether you are facing feelings of dependence. There may be a fear of being left or losing someone, perhaps arising from an actual experience of loss in the past.
Dreams often depict your fears, they are seldom predictions

Dreams, no doubt, can be interesting to interpret. For the most part, I believe they do reflect our anxieties, in your case losing your boyfriend. It's OK that you mentioned it to him, but I would leave it at that. Men tend to be turned off by clingy, worrisome females needing constant reassurance that the relationship is stable. Don't misunderstand -- I'm not saying you're at all like that. Just be yourself and confident that you are a terrific catch for anyone, and I'm sure all will be well. As far as any future dreams are concerned, it's OK to try and analyze, but I wouldn't lose any SLEEP (tee hee) over them!!

I don't think it's a premonition if that's what you mean. Either you are insecure about your boyfriend; or you are entering a period of change. You cried but let him go. I think you've recently relinquished something - maybe finished school, quit a favorite activity, given up something or someone. And you're telling yourself that, while you'll miss it, you're going to be fine.

I think you just really love your boyfriend a lot and so you are afraid he will someday cheat on you. Before you go to bed, try to clear your mind of all thoughts, so that you don't have weird dreams. Writing in a journal might help :)

Sounds like you're afraid that he'll break up with you. Shore up on some self-esteem otherwise it'll be a case of self fulfilling prophecy.

If you dreamt it on a Friday - and spoke about it on a Saturday, it will come true ! Well - at least that is a superstition I grew up with ! Have yet to prove it !
