that means she has eggs right? what if i don't want to breeder? will they just go away?

Yep, it means she is ready to breed. They will kind of come and go depending on her "readiness".

A healthy female always has eggs. She doesn't ever need to breed. Also keep in mind vertical bars on the body indicate readiness to spawn, as opposed to the horizontal bars associated with fear or stress. My lighter colored females display bars on a regular basis. For example during tank cleaning.

PS- Keep in mind that female and female betta either mate or fight. Or somethings both. After mating the male will defend his nest and often kill his mate. So don't keep the together.

Well defined horizontal lines are from stress or being scared. Vertical bands are for breeding, the lines aren't as defined.

It does not neccesserly mean she has to breed but most times they do want to breed.She could also be stressed.
