the games that i'm talking about are pacman and tetris and some other games for fifth generation ipods that are sold on itunes. I want to know if they work for the psp.

No, the only devices that they will play on at all are the 5G iPod Video or the 5.5G iPod Video, while running the latest firmware. They will not even play on your computer through iTunes, and they won't play on a stock iPod Nano of any type (though there is a firmware hack out there that will let you play video on the Nano, which might enable it to also play iTunes games).

no, not possible. The ipod software is proprietary for one thing, and even if you were to successfully port it, you would have to rewrite the software to be controled by buttons as opposed to the scroll wheel.
